A rare glimpse of Mount Denali, Alaska. This mountain is 20,320 feet high and the highest in North America. With its own microclimate at work it is only visible for an average of 2 days a month. The mountain's official name is Mount McKinley, named after a US senator who, despite invitations, declined to ever visit Alaska. Denali means The Great One in the Athabaskan language.
