The scene was an Australian Outback Oasis, complete with the tallowed cool waters that sprung from hidden cracks between the grey slated old rocks that seemed to be a monument in honour of the now extinct volcano that once ruled this land long ago.
Now it was semi-lush, yet still sparse in places, the trees not tall and reaching for the sun space. Smaller compact bushes stood squat in sandy soil.
The mountain of rock cast its shadow in the late noon day dance, and a group of natives, Aborigines, were all gathered there. Families of children played near the water’s edge and some were climbing the bare cold rocks to find a high position to dive and play into the cool waters below.
I stood at a distance watching this and felt a presence of dark shadow next to me. We both watched and observed the scene unfold.
A young strong and brave adolescent boy was already swimming with long drawn out strokes across the length of the natural pool.
Another young adolescent a girl was standing high on a big rock and was about to jump in. I felt concern for this young girl or woman, but she managed to jump in and swim after the stronger boy man.
Halfway across the lagoon there was a row of weeds or reeds and the girl seemed to get stuck in amongst them. She was struggling, panicking, but she kept on trying.
Next the scene changed to the other end of the pool and an elderly man of shamanic sights was standing hip high in the water. Beneath him, under the water, was the girl, laid out like a star pattern.
Next to the Elder stood the brave boy. The Elder explained to the boy what to do. Next the boy is under the water also, and has laid himself opposite her, and crossed his ankles with hers, so now it looks like a double X or the rune 'Ing' symbol.
I felt a little sad for the girl.
But then as I looked up to the Elder, he smiled and gave me a sign with his right hand, in the knowledge that all was "okay". A rabbit sign of sorts with pointer and thumb making a circle. I knew then that all would be alright.
I awoke to feel a little curious but fine.
