I'm holding an acquaintance's friend's baby.
It's alive but it is completely unresponsive. It doesn't move or make a sound. It has still, spooky eyes and its body is triangular in shape, getting wider at the bottom. It's wrapped in a blanket.
The acquaintance holds the baby and it's happy and very responsive to her.
The mother can't keep the baby so it's in a hospital and the friend looks after it occasionally.
We take it to the mother. Now the baby is normal and responds happily towards me. Neither the mother nor the acquaintance acknowledge this.
The mother says that I didn't put the restrainers in the baby seat on correctly. The baby was too big for the way I did it. I didn't know there were different methods of fastening it.
I'm reversing my car to get out. The acquaintance is in the passenger seat. I hit a fence or shed door because the car rolled back a little when I took my foot off the brake.
The other 2 women seemed a bit older and looked at me as though I was inexperienced. I felt a bit inadequate though I knew I did nothing wrong.
