Subject: Thee end of the world

It was after the holocaust, the end of the world as I knew it. The ground was torn apart and the rail tracks no longer connected. Cars were left abandoned and people walked the streets as if they had just woken from a long sleep. The sun was shining and the air was clear.

I found myself at a beach and whilst people watched I ran into the water and was tossed by the surf. I emerged from the waves covered in sand.

Next I was with my grandfather (who has passed away). He was teaching me how to organise the garage so that everything could fit in and still leave plenty of room. I was listening eagerly and he was very pleased. I felt very sunny.

Hi Chris,

Congratulations. Yes, you've done it. Your dream does indeed reflect the changes you have been working on through looking at and acting on your recent batch of dreams.

I love the dream picture of your grandfather showing you how to assimilate what you have learned, to accommodate what you wish to keep and to find, in doing so, plenty of room for the new (fulfilling potential).

You can amplify and consolidate the effects of your work by taking the feeling of emerging from the sandy surf into your everyday life. Summon up the feeling whenever you feel need of it as you adjust to your post-holocaust, newly-awakened life.

You can also draw on the memory of your grandfather standing in your dream garage, feeling the power of his dream wisdom supporting you as you reorganise aspects of your life.

Yes, it sounds like a huge shift .... yet if you try to put it into words the difference may seem small. However it's the small steps, the subtle changes and shifts in thinking/acting/responding to the world that have the most solid and long-lasting effects. Think of throwing a pebble into a pool of water and watching the enormity of the ripple effect. Small changes can create enormous effects.

Thank you for sharing your inspiring series of dreams and waking life thoughts and feelings. Let us know how the ripples go!

Jane Thanks for the imput. AS usual you are correct......the changes in my life have been very subtle but have had amazing results....much like your pebble analogy. I certainly am feeling empowered at the moment.....it a wonderful feeling.

The first part of your dream reminds me of an old movie. I believe it was entitled, "On the Beach." It was about a U.S. submarine tracing a phantom signal. It took place after the atomic holocaust and showed alot of the old cars and rubble that was created. Most people died in that holocaust. Do you think it would help to see an old movie that is similar to your dream? Do our dreams sometimes parrallel the movies we have seen to tie us further into whatever lesson we are to learn because of the dream?
