I was in a street with shops with what looked like a refrigerator and a washing machine, both covered, to the left of a shop doorway. I didn't recognize the area.

A very frightened woman ran passed me and seemed to be waiting around there to my left throughout the dream.

A man wearing a very long coat was walking down the street, coming from my right. He had a gun under his coat, down beside his right leg, almost out of sight. Someone said “He's got a shotgun” and the woman said, “It's a rifle”. (I got the feeling she said a 22). He was walking calmly and then I think he started yelling. I got the feeling that the frightened woman was his wife.

He shot one person and then a man standing in the doorway of the shop said something to him and the gunman shot him. Then he started to shooting at the covered items several times and definitely yelling at this point. There were people hiding behind these covered items.

Every time someone said something he shot them. He shot other people as well: people seemed to be falling all over the place.

I was in my 4WD ute with my dog. I didn't know whether to slip out and hide beside it or to lay down and hide. I thought about starting it and driving off, but thought he would riddle it with bullets.

Note:

My dream was short and sharp but seemed to be in grey tones, possibly a very dull grey day.

It’s unusual for my dreams to be that violent. I had to take 1/2 a sleep tab last night and I don't know whether it has anything to do with the dreams or whether leaving my mobile phone turned on, laying on the bedside table, (after I thought I had it off) has affected my dreams.

Hi Anne

I know how these dreams feel. I dreamed that my neighbour and I were playing around and having a great time, and then all of a sudden things changed and he was coming at me with a gun. It was the most terrifying dream.

A few months later I twigged that the dream was symbolic of someone in my life who, quite often, when I was enjoying myself and having a good time would 'shoot me down' on an emotional level.

Your dream might have a similar type of meaning. The 'shots fired' could be verbal shots. I note that when ever anyone wants to speak in your dream he 'fires'.

Can you think of anyone in your life that has behaved this way? I'm wondering if the 22 rifle is a dream clue for age 22?

Also, is your dog a clue? Man's best friend? Was this person related to a best friend of yours or something?

Hi Belinda, my precognition dreams are usually short & sharp, but in colour.

You might be right, the day before I found out that a man who I thought was a friend (not at all close), was 'stabbing me in the back' because of 'sour grapes'. Not verbally but in a letter. All I can say is that I was planning something (quite legal) & he's up against it, although it's none of his business.

His age is about 50 yrs, we were warned when we first came to this district, 15 yrs ago, that he was sneaky, but up till now behaved admirably.

My family would do anyone a favour until they show you a 'point', We have done one for this man some years ago, so I think it's time to call in the favour. I'll bet he won't remember now the time has come.

My dog is my best friend & is nearly always with me, she's very protective & I of her. Seemed to have a lot of dreams this week, grey tone, common 'garden variety' type, nothing to write about, with an extra bad night last night, waking every hour.

Wow Anne

I really hope this guy doesn't give you any trouble. At least, equipped with foreknowledge, you can deal with him better.

Your dream depicts him as a bit of a 'head spinner', so please be careful.

I have no idea if this helps but what I am getting re this one is:-

Do you have choices that you are not seeing or that are recognisable?

What are you frightened of?

Is the age 22 that you refer to linking to an event in your life at that time?

Does your way of thinking have power over your intuition?

Are old loyalties or current loyalties to others your main motivation for doing things regardless of the loyalty you feel towards yourself for doing what is right for you?
