I was on a show hosted by Ed McMann. I think it was "Star Search".

When I saw myself on TV I thought I looked very pretty. But the show was rigged.

In the rigged show I cried because of something and wiped my eyes with somebody's bandana, when in reality I had not done that at all. The show made me look bad. And I was upset by this.

Then I was in a supermarket aisle. Two gangs decided to clash there. They both had large guns and they pointed them at each other. I was in danger because I was in the middle of it. Somehow I ducked below the arm of one of the gang members and escaped the aisle.

Then I was with a family in their house. There was something crystal that looked like a leg. I accidentally broke it but it still functioned and still resembled a leg. I kept picking up the glass hoping I wouldn't cut myself.

Then I was talking to my mom as we were watching TV. We were talking about God and I wanted to her to know that God was with us always. Suddenly I felt like someone, possibly God himself, was talking through me. I felt my left side go numb and was afraid that it was an early symptom of a stroke, but I wasn't sure if I should tell anyone or not.

hello shalie -

here are a few ideas about your dream...the tv - is very public and in a way i think it represents society - under the public eye - and because something went wrong in the show - something might have happened recently in your life in which your name, pride was damaged or hurt in some way.

Being caught int eh middle of th e gang fight, could be a reflection of being caught in the heat of an argument, although you aren't related to it.

picking up the pieces of glass, i think represents you trying to fix the problem but you are scared you are going to hurt yourself - thus, in helping others, you are scared you may get hurt yourself.

and i think that the left side of your body going numb doesn't neccessarily indicate stroke or bad health - the left side - as i have seen Jane Anderson meantion a lot - the left side could also represent the left side of your brain - the logical and analytical side.

and then you are back watching tv...(the dream travels full circle - interesting...) and this time while you are watching - the left side of you (left side of brain) goes numb - perhaps you haven't been realistic or critical enough about your name or pride being damaged in real life...

i wonder if this might shed any light...

Hi Shalie,

The left side of the brain is the analytical/masculine side and the right is the intuitive/feminine side but the wiring crosses over when it goes to the body so any "problems" with the left side of the body in dreams actually refers to the creative/feminine part of our being.

Your intuition is telling you that God is everywhere but you're afraid to share that information with others so you block it with a stroke.

Does searching for stars (looking for God) make you feel bad?

Do you prefer the middle path to making choices between opposing viewpoints?

Legs are used in movement. Is there something there about forward movement being fragile or broken?
