Subject: living on the moon

Chris

I was on the moon with two other guys.

There was a strong bond between us. We weren’t brothers but I would have put my life on the line for both of them. They were faceless but both were big burly men.

At one point we were trying to escape a large mob of people and ran to the town centre where there was a large rocket ship. It was traditional, tall and pointy like the first rocket ships, or like an old church spire.

We were trying to get off the moon but then it was like a movie because the camera (or my consciousness) was outside the ship where everyone was waiting for us, knowing we could not use the ship to escape because it was broken.

Either before or after this the three of us were on a very busy beach on the moon. We had just arrived and I was being hired by the beach owner to dance like a gogo boy* (see note). He was supplying me with drinks and I was drinking a cocktail called a French 75.

When I had finished my job I went to the bar and signed a sheet to say that I danced that day so I would be paid for the job. I noticed that I was rostered on for every day but the days had different names on the moon.

While I was at the bar I decided to buy some drinks but realised that I had no money so I asked the girl if she accepted credit cards from Earth. I was aware that my cards were actually maxed but I figured that she wouldn't check with Earth.

The girl asked why I had no money and I told her we had just arrived from Earth, so she gave me a handful of gold coins. There were some other coins sitting on the bar, so she gave me those too. The coins looked like rings. The girl then offered us the use of a vacant room to sleep in. It was big enough for the three of us and had a bathroom and was warm.

I remember thinking that the beach looked so big and was so full of people but it was not particularly sunny. I saw no water but I think it was there.

I remember looking over the moon from a distant high point. I saw so many houses and buildings all crowded together. It was very hilly and there were cliffs, a lot of white buildings and a gold dome in the distance that looked very familiar.

I remember something about being on a cliff also, but not sure if that was on Earth or the moon. Birds were nesting there.

Note:

* I work as a gogo dancer.

Hi Chris, when I saw the title I immediately thought what a nice place to "be".

As usual with your dreams there is HEAPS in here to work with - what have you come up with so far???

Chris I just had a flash re your first para - considering what you know the moon symbolises to me from your other dream - and I also recall some time ago - at least I think it was one of your dreams - there was mention of "religious conditioning" - I think it was a dream about a priest, your father and finding a key (?). Mention of a golden organ (?)

Just wondering if this part doesn't relate to all that somehow - considering your reference to the rocket ship looking like an old church spire and it "being broken - not working" hence "the old way" of travelling through life (and space) so to speak can provide no escape of going back to what is familiar having come this far???

Very true about the way of travelling.......things now will have to be very different for me......as if echoing the dream...a friend suddenly arranged for me to have several thousand pounds to move into a flash apartment with her..... so now I have a great base but have to work real hard at keeping it.....and Ive made a mental decision to double my salary in a month..... so change is on the way.... Still not too sure about the dream... Living on the moon was a fun feeling,...everyone that lived there was happyand really living life to the full it would seem.....still thinkin abouyt it.

OK, so if everyone (all the aspects of Self) were having fun, living life to the full and happy my next question would be why did you want to escape and get back to what was familiar??

I gather that once you realised there was no escape you accepted what was now happening ??? Could this relate to accepting recent sudden events???

In the next para you have no money to do what you want, which is buy yourself (by yourself?) - i.e. no money to do what you want by yourself - YET all you need is provided easily. The "boss" aspect of Self provides you with free drinks and the woman (feminine Self) provides you with money to get what you want (money for me symbolises freedom). It's interesting that the coins were rings - ring - ring true - circle of life - what goes round comes round.

In relation to the cock tail (and that ain't a typo I've deliberately split it cause I feel there is definitely something in that - cock - rooster - masculine and slang for penis and tail - something hanging from the end of an animal, or perhaps a pun on tale - story - could that all imply an end to a past way of masculine being???)

As it is a French 75 - what does that imply - i.e. what does a cocktail or a cock tail mean for you, French or France mean to you??? The numbers appear to be significant of this particular drink - 7+5 = 12 = 1+2 = 3 and all it symbolises.

Does the bit about the gogo dancing fit in with just going for it and enjoying yourself and your life, whilst knowing all you need is always provided???
