Hi John.
I often get so involved over in the Member's Forum that I rarely have much 'Dream Time' left in my day to stick my head in here. But I finally saw this only about a week ago and felt a pull to respond. With training in the therapy field, I wouldn't doubt you've got a pretty good idea about brain psychology, which I think is a definite aid in dream work. So perhaps you've got this particular dream figured out as the time has gone by, but I do have an overall thought for you.
At the risk of repeating what you might already know...
In dream analysis we learn to notice everything. We make our own personal symbols of all the things, people, places, etc. that cross our path. We look at dream setting and action and particularly at the feelings. These give us a reflection of the struggles we are encountering in our everyday lives and usually, in a clever and cryptic way, the dreams will also give us the solutions.
Your question of seeking permission from your higher self is a good one and your thoughts of already having the desire do seem to erase the need to have such a dream that is merely asking permission. So, let's take it further.
What has drawn me to your dream is not what is happening, but what is not happening. There are no characters, only words. The setting is in a computer forum -- a place of only words. There is no action, only words. So, let me ask you a huge question:
Are you all talk and no action?
This is a fascinating dream, John. I'd love to see your response and I'd also enjoy reading more posts from you.
Best wishes,
Angela
