I wondered whether to post a synchronicity from yesterday and checked in here while I was wondering. Noticing Gloria's title "11.11. again", how could I not share my story?
It's a banking one - a money synchroncity story.
You know how sometimes you stop using a bank account but never get round to closing it down? Well, I had an account like that and so did Michael. We decided it was time to simplify some of our accounts (too many paper bank statements) when a small Lotto winnings cheque arrived: about $130.00.
We decided to open a new account with the lotto cheque (to create a little magical winners' energy), close the two unused accounts and transfer whatever was left in them into the new account.
We went to the bank and opened the new account, handing over the lotto cheque and arranging for the balance of my unused account to be transferred. The sum total after closure fees came to the grand sum of $222.44.
We then looked into Michael's unused account. Its balance was $55.55 exactly.
"Wow, look at all those doubles! This is going to be interesting!", I said, as his $55.55 was transferred into the new account...
to create a new grand sum total of $277.99!
2, 22, 44, 55, 55, 77, 99 ...
Hmmm ... I think we'll make good use of that account! Maybe whatever we put in will double .. well, sort of.

Ah, look at today's date: 10, 10, 2002.
10.10;
11, 22 (if you take out the zeroes) .... but I must say that while the zeroes are usually removed in dreamwork (dream numbers are often emphasised by the addition of zeroes to make you remember them), I'm rather a fan of adding zeroes when it comes to synchronicities around my bank accounts ...

Cool, Jane - have you looked at the website Geoffo mentioned: http://www.nvisible.com
I have just today started on a new book -'Numerology and the Sacred Triangle.' There is quite a bit in there about double numbers being special. Even your original $130.00 comes down to 4, which is double 2.
Congratulations on condensing your accounts, it's a job well worth doing.

Gidday JT and Gloria,
I haven't had time to look in here for a while. I am about to condense credit cards, 2 into 1. I am also fond of sweetened condensed milk in coffee, a double shot of course. I have no idea why I wrote that? I see Geoffo has returned to us in this forum. No, I won't write that, it's time for me 2 sleep. |

JT - I was struck by your little lotto win. $130.00 is quite good, you must have got at least 5 correct numbers. Did you have that 'awwww' feeling? And that thought of 'So near yet so far' - or 'As near as it is far'?
Thought-play at work here this morning, a wondering what our strongest thoughts manifest for us. Could the belief 'As near as it is far' be at work in your life? Is a new life dream affirmation due? I wonder how it would be if you caught that star and brought it down to earth to ground itself in your bank account.
Are you with National Bank? NB has a star logo. Could be a worthwhile multi-dimensional, living affirmation.
That star in your book example - was it Alpha Centauri? A friend has my copy of your book at the moment so I cannot check. I am wondering what Alpha Centauri means, alpha is one, what about centauri?
May your wealth on every level continue to double faster than the speed of light.
Love Beth. |

Hi Gloria, Oobe & Beth,
Gloria - I had a look at the 11:11 web site. My feeling is that 11:11 symbolises the physical, 22:22 adds the mental/emotional levels (to whatever the subject is) and 33:33 adds the spiritual understanding to the same issue.
Gloria & Oobe - I like Gloria's 'condensing', beautifully doubled by Oobe's double shot. Putting it all together, perhaps we are talking about reducing the complex to the 'short, sweet and simple'?
Geoffo would agree and disagree on short simplicity.
Beth - Hmmm. $130 is quite good. This year there have been a number of lotto wins (mostly between $25 and $80), so I guess I've got used to them! We play a small number of games but usually the same numbers and many of these numbers are ... doubled or more.
For example, if we had 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 in one game, we might have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9 in another. So it only takes four numbers (1, 2, 3 & 4) to win several small amounts which adds up to a bigger win.
We play the numbers once a week on a Saturday, but when we win we play the next Wednesday too.
Yes, as near as it is far. (For those of you who may be confused, this is a significant quote and story on synchronicity in my book, The Shape of Things to Come.)
Last week I received the proof of the book cover for my new book, Dream Alchemy. I had seen it in various stages but this time there was an additional image I hadn't seen before. Yes, it was a single star placed on the spine of the book.
So, I'll ground that star (it was red on the cover - red is base chakra grounding colour) and make sure it's nearer than near - it's here.
The star is here.
*
Hmm - I'l fine tune that one!
(Beth - I discuss Alpha Centauri in the book but the particular reference was to any star. No, not NB but Commonwealth Bank.)
I have noticed other doubling/trebling effects - I'll continue this at an appropriate thread in the Members' Forum.

Dear Jane Teresa
your star looks beautiful
tuning is not required

You've got the star already, yippeee! And wealth is in commonwealth after all - how interesting to apply one of the member's 'typian slips' here - remember she meant to type come on, but instead typed common. So I say for you come on wealth! Double, triple, quadruple and quintuple to your heart's delight.
Hey I like that - typian slips! Did I make it up, or did you already think of it? I have noticed on occasion that your thinking sometimes duplicates mine. It makes me do a double take. |

Oh, I love 1,2,3. This is why I wear a celtic triskelle. My meaning mirrors yours in the post above - so I'll definitely second that. |

Jane Teresa I just took a peek at the 11:11 site. Smiled to be greeted by the following words "....The merging point of Earth and Star, A window into the Greater Reality, Wherein the invisible is made visible."
A synchronicity to the idea of grounding the star perhaps? And also a surprise to see words such as 'Surfing", the Master Cylinder etc. Notes of my Crystal Cylinder dream.
Do we ever have an original thought, or dream? I am beginning to feel like a bee because I vaguely remember hearing something about a hive mind.
Thoughtfully yours, Bee for Beth. |

Hi there, The $130 rang another bell for me and I've just checked it. On my dentist bill thread, Anne said she'd had 3 fillings in the last two weeks. The first two totalled $230 and the other $130. If we have a hive mind, I assume we have hive experiences too?

WHAT IS SYNCHRONICITY? |

WHAT IS SYNCHRONICITY?
________
Synchronicity occurs when you experience a coincidence, or several coincidences, that seem so bizarre that you feel they must be meaningful in some way. Some people believe that synchronicities are signs to follow, to lead you to where you are 'meant' to be. My understanding, however, is that not all synchronicities are to be followed, because ... Synchronicities are SYMBOLS of where you're at, not signs to follow.
Synchronicities speak the same symbolic language as dreams. When you experience a synchronicity, you are witnessing a change within yourself, an insight, a birth of something that has been unconscious bubbling up into consciousness. At such times of change we see, all around us, symbols that reflect our shift in perception and self-understanding. This is synchronicity. To understand this fully, and to see why it is not always appropriate to follow synchronicity, you can read my book, THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME. This way you can also discover how to read the synchronicities in your life and how to act on them in positive, life-enhancing ways.
Reality may never feel the same again!
______
P.S.
In Jungian terms all synchronicities begin with a dream. The dream comes first, then the symbol from the dream appears in waking life in ways that seem incredibly meaningful - though, classically, it is hard to understand, consciously, what that meaning is.
This is because the dream is painted by your unconscious mind in advance of your conscious mind 'catching up'. When the insight (unconscious shift) is big, synchronicities follow. What happens is that your incredibly powerful unconscious mind (far more powerful than your conscious mind) manifests its insight physically into your waking life. (You have changed - the world, as you experience it, changes in accordance.)
It usually takes up to a couple of weeks before your conscious mind understands the symbolic dream manifesting in your waking life as synchronicity.
Being human, as we all are, we often forget the original dream but still experience the synchronicities.
There are many excellent reference sources on Jungian synchronicity.
My approach is largely Jungian, but slightly shifted.
Again, if you are seriously in-depth interested, I suggest you read my book "THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME" to understand where I am coming from.
Quite simply, synchronicity is a waking dream and interpreting it as such is immensely enriching.
