Our forums were active and busy for five years, from 1998 to 2003. We decided to close the forums for a number of reasons including time and energy constraints in moderating and contributing towards the discussions.
We realised that we had many thousands of interesting and informative posts that had become relatively inaccessible, relegated to back pages, slipping further and further into the depths of the website as new posts were added to the front page every day.
We also realised that people were posting new dreams and questions that had been covered in past forum discussions.
We wanted to present people with as much free information and help as we could. We looked at many possible solutions and finally decided to close the forums and present some of the best material in a more accessible and helpful way.
The result is the Dream Index (also known as the Dream Forum Archive), and Synchronicity Stories.
Some of the material has also been re-presented as 101 Dreams Interpreted.
The Dream Index showcases 500 dream discussions from the old Dream Forum. Jane Teresa has been going back through these, adding interpretations and dream alchemy practices. Many are complete, although this is still a work in progress. Here's an update of the progress.
